However, the malfunctioning devices have allegedly left MVIs and AMVIs unable to effectively enforce traffic rules for the last six to seven months.<\/p>\n<p>Tamankar contended that the disruption in enforcement has encouraged traffic violations, weakened road safety compliance, and resulted in significant revenue loss to the state exchequer.<\/p>\n<p>While acknowledging the importance of digital transformation, he stated that field officers cannot be left without functional enforcement tools. He has therefore requested the Transport Department to immediately redistribute physical Checking Report books to all MVIs and AMVIs until the e-challan system is fully restored and made reliable.<\/p>\n<p>The representation calls for urgent intervention to ensure uninterrupted enforcement of traffic laws and to safeguard both public safety and government
