Porvorim, April 17, 2026: The Goa Human Resource Development Corporation (GHRDC) will organise a Job Fair on April 23, 2026, at the GIDC Hall, Verna Industrial Estate, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, aiming to create employment opportunities for eligible Goan youth.

The initiative is part of the Government of Goa’s continued efforts to boost employment generation and enhance skill-based opportunities. The job fair is being organised in collaboration with the Office of the Commissioner, Labour & Employment, Goa, and the Verna Industries Association (VIA), bringing together industries and job seekers on a single platform.

Around 25 companies are expected to participate, offering approximately 740 vacancies across various sectors. Opportunities will be available for candidates from ITI, engineering, pharmacy, science, commerce, management, and arts streams.

As per officials, the highest number of vacancies are for ITI candidates (150) and Diploma in Engineering holders (120), followed by Bachelor and Master of Pharmacy candidates with 100 vacancies each. Positions on offer include technicians, engineers, executives, analysts, managers, and support staff.

Candidates possessing a valid 15-year residence certificate of Goa and meeting the required educational qualifications will be eligible to participate. The certificate must be produced at the time of the job fair or during appointment.

Interested candidates are required to register online through the official portal. Registration will remain open until 3:00 PM on the day of the event. Applicants are advised to carry multiple copies of their updated CVs, with preference likely to be given to freshers.

To facilitate transportation, two Kadamba buses will be arranged to ferry candidates from Titan Clock Tower (Titan Junction) to the venue at Verna.

Officials stated that the job fair is expected to serve as an effective platform for direct interaction between employers and job seekers, contributing to workforce engagement and employment generation in the state.
