₹45.26 Cr Credited to 2.24 Lakh Beneficiaries Under Welfare Schemes

Panaji, 10 March:
Pramod Sawant on Tuesday informed that ₹45.26 crore has been directly credited to over 2.24 lakh beneficiaries across Goa, including newly registered beneficiaries, under the Griha Aadhar Scheme and Dayanand Social Security Scheme.

He stated that henceforth assistance under both schemes will be credited by the 10th of every month without delays, ensuring greater transparency and convenience for beneficiaries.

The announcement was made in the presence of Vishwajit Rane, Minister for Women & Child Development and Health, and Subhash Phal Dessai, Social Welfare Minister.

Sawant said the schemes continue to strengthen social security for families, women, senior citizens, widows and other vulnerable sections, reflecting the government’s commitment to the principle of Antyodaya.
