Panaji, 4 November : Mangirish Salelkar, CEO and Co-Founder of UMANG Group, and Sunaya Shirodkar, Founder Director of Asier Solutions, have been appointed as members of the newly reconstituted State-Level Empowered Committee for the Coding and Robotics Education in Schools (CARES) Scheme in Goa.

The committee, chaired by Chief Minister and Education Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, is responsible for providing policy guidance, monitoring the scheme’s progress and overseeing its effective implementation across schools in the state.

The appointment of Salelkar and Shirodkar brings industry representation to the committee, which aims to strengthen technological education and promote coding, robotics and digital literacy among students.

Their inclusion is expected to contribute industry expertise and practical insights to the implementation of the CARES Scheme, helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and emerging technological developments.

The CARES initiative seeks to equip students with essential technology skills and prepare them for future opportunities in an increasingly digital world.
