The annual summit will bring together Curators and youth leaders from more than 450 Global Shapers Hubs across 140 countries and territories, representing a worldwide network of over 11,000 Global Shapers. The event serves as the flagship gathering of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community, providing a platform for collaboration on global challenges and sustainable development.
The Global Shapers Panaji Hub, Goa’s only hub within the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community, works to drive sustainable social impact through youth-led initiatives, leadership development, and community engagement.
One of the hub’s flagship initiatives is Project DhanWise, led by Pranali Naik, which promotes financial literacy among students, women, and underserved communities. The initiative focuses on budgeting, savings, digital financial services, investments, entrepreneurship, fraud awareness, and long-term financial planning through workshops and outreach programmes.
Pranali has extensive experience in programme management, strategic partnerships, CSR implementation, stakeholder engagement, and government collaboration. She has worked with corporate CSR partners, government departments, educational institutions, and non-profit organisations to design and implement community development programmes.
Speaking on the opportunity, Pranali Naik said it is an honour to represent Goa at the Global Shapers Annual Summit and contribute to discussions with young leaders from around the world. She expressed hope that the experience would help strengthen youth leadership, community development, and financial inclusion initiatives in Goa while showcasing the impactful work of the Global Shapers Panaji Hub.
Pranali is the daughter of renowned Goan theatre, film, and tiatr personality Pradeep Anand Naik. She holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com.) degree and has also been selected to pursue a Master’s in Development (2026–2028) at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru.
