Panaji, June 26: The senior leadership of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) on Friday held a meeting to review organisational matters and chalk out a strategy to strengthen the party across Goa. The meeting, held at the Congress headquarters in Panaji, was chaired by AICC Goa In-charge Manickrao Thakare. It was attended by GPCC President Girish Chodankar, Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao, and Working Presidents M. K. Shaikh and Altone D’Costa. According to the GPCC, the leaders held detailed discussions on organisational strengthening, constituency-level visits, expanding the party’s presence at the grassroots, and intensifying public outreach programmes across the State. The leadership also resolved to expose and oppose what it termed the “anti-people policies” of the BJP government at every level, while reaffirming the Congress party’s commitment to being a strong and consistent voice for the people of Goa. The meeting concluded with the leadership reiterating its commitment to building a stronger organisation and taking up public issues with renewed vigour across the State.
