Panaji: Goa Forward Party Chief Spokesperson Prashant Naik has urged the Goa government to remain alert over Telangana BJP MLA T. Raja Singh’s proposed event in Ponda on May 24.
Naik alleged that Raja Singh’s past provocative speeches, including remarks urging Hindus to keep swords, could disturb Goa’s communal harmony.
Recalling former Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s firm stand against such activities, Naik said the BJP government must “wake up and act before it is too late.”
“Prevention is better than cure,” Naik said, demanding preventive steps to ensure peace and communal harmony in Goa.
