Panaji: The Goa unit of the Indian National Congress held a strategic meeting at the AICC headquarters to discuss the political situation in the state and plan the party’s roadmap for the upcoming elections.
According to a press release issued by Amit Patkar, President of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee, the meeting was attended by K. C. Venugopal, Sasikanth Senthil, Challa Vamshi Chand Reddy, AICC Goa in-charge Manikrao Thakare, and Anjali Nimbalkar.
During the meeting, leaders held detailed discussions on the present political situation in Goa and the challenges faced by the people, which the party attributed to the alleged failures of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state.
The leaders also deliberated on strategy and preparations for the upcoming Ponda by-election as well as the broader roadmap for the 2027 Goa Legislative Assembly Election.
The leadership reiterated the party’s commitment to strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level and standing firmly with the people of Goa to protect their land, identity and future.
The Goa Congress leadership stated that the party remains united and determined to fulfil the aspirations of Goans and to bring accountable and people-centric governance back to the state.
