Karapur: AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal joined the ongoing Save Karapur agitation against the Lodha mega project and extended solidarity to the protesting villagers.
He was accompanied by former Delhi Chief Minister and Goa Prabhari Atishi, AAP Goa President Valmiki Naik, Velim MLA Cruz Silva, Senior Vice President Sandesh Teleikar-Dessai, Working President Gerson Gomes, Organisational Secretary Prashant Naik, Vice President Sunil Singnapurkar and other party leaders.
Addressing the protest, Kejriwal criticised the BJP government for promoting what he called anti-people mega projects in Goa. He guaranteed that if AAP forms the government in Goa, Section 39A will be scrapped and all mega projects approved under it will be revoked retrospectively as a top priority.
Kejriwal appealed to Goans to unite against BJP’s anti-Goa policies and said an AAP government would protect Goa’s land, environment and future generations.
